Successfully moved the Butte-Silver Bow County Justice Court to dismiss a case in which my client was charged with: three counts of theft; three counts of trespass to vehicles; one count of obstructing a peace officer; and one count of carrying a concealed weapon.
The dismissal was granted on the grounds that my client's right to speedy trial was violated, all charges therein were dismissed. The dismissal was also with prejudice, meaning the County cannot reinstate the charges.
